We are excited to share some good news with you about the Squaw Valley Ski Museum Foundation (SVSMF)

In July 2015, the Placer County Board of Supervisors voted to allow the Foundation to submit an application to build an Olympic and Sierra Ski History Museum in the Squaw Valley Park, located at the entrance to Olympic Valley.

To arrive at this great milestone, members of the Board have been working behind the scenes for the past four years to secure a site worthy of our 1960 Olympic history and the rich heritage of winter sports culture in the Sierra Nevada. Now, with this vote of confidence and acknowledgement of our vision by our County Supervisors, the Foundation is ready to move forward with renewed enthusiasm to raise the funds necessary to build and open the Museum in 2020.
