Ambassador Interview

What keeps you inspired to continue to train and be disciplined in your sport?

Continuing to learn and progress keeps me motivated! It’s really cool to see where women’s snowboarding is at from when I started many years ago.

What is a piece of advice you would pass along to generations who aspire to follow in your footsteps?

To work hard, stay humble and be kind! We can do anything we believe in!

Please share a fond memory of your time at the Olympics or another race/competition you competed in.

My first Olympic experience in Sochi was awesome, my whole family was there , my dad had never flew overseas, and after I won the love and good vibes from my family was so precious! It was one of my favorite wins of my career!

What is one thing you always do before a race/competition?

I like to take deep breaths and visuals, stay calm and focused!

What is something people don’t know about you and would surprise them?

I’m one of eight kids, and grew up home schooled with my siblings, getting to be outside and enjoy the mountains at a young age and throughout my childhood.

What is one thing the SNOW Museum can do right now to support you?

You can support my charity, “Jamie Anderson foundation,” to help give back to kids to enjoy sports and living a healthy active lifestyle!

Why are you excited about supporting the SNOW Museum?

I think the history of snow sports is essential to have in a community! This is a great project I’m happy to be a part of!
